ARTIST STATEMENT

     The work I presented thus far exemplified my capabilities as well as my skills behind a camera. The images I selected, displayed a wide range of styles and approaches to my work which mainly focused on Sports/Events, Portraitures, Fashion, and Documentaries. For as long as I can remember, my work always had an emphasis on the technical aspects of projects (i.e natural lighting, colors, lines and etc.). The emphasis I place on my work as a photographer almost allows run a smooth post-production work. I am truly proud of my work; however, I do believe there is still much potential for growth as an artist along with my work.

     In the last few years, I can confidently say that as an artist, my growth has been nothing but exponential. The challenges and obstacles that came along the way became almost easier with the support of my professors and peers. Each year had presented itself as another chance to improve my abilities on and off the camera and I fully took advantage of it. In the meantime, I will be continuing to produce photographs and enrich my skills to become the best artist I can be.
